I am so excited that your child and family are part of our school family! I am so excited to be working with you and your child this year. I look forward to having your child in my class and learning things about them. We have so many awesome things to learn and achieve this year. Let me introduce myself! This is my 16th at Littlefield ISD in Primary. I was a teacher’s assistant in Pre-K and obtained a Child Development Certification through working with Head Start. This will be my sixth year to teach Kindergarten. I am a graduate of Wayland Baptist University, with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development. I also attended South Plains College and obtained an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development. Outside of teaching I have many hobbies. I love children’s literature and plan on incorporating these stories on a daily basis. I hope that I will instill my passion for reading to your child. I also love arts and crafts, and am a Wildcat fan, attending many sporting events and functions.
I have been married for 24 years now and have lived in Littlefield my entire life and attended school here, graduating with the class of 1996. I have two sons, my oldest Seth, who has just recently moved back to Littlefield and is getting married soon to his fiancé Courtney. He is a lineman at LCEC. My youngest, Jett just graduated from Sul Ross State University and will be teaching/coaching at Slaton ISD this school year. I enjoy spending time with my family.
I look forward to having your child in my classroom! I am very blessed to get to share this year with your child and family. We are going to have a wonderful year!
